The Scarlet Rose Finch is found across Asia and into the edges of Europe, the song of the scarlet rose finch is very striking and not to be confused with any other, it is a loud clear whistle of the tu-whit, tu-whit type ... I'm sure you can get the drift from that!!
They build their nests in the fork of a small bush or amongst climbing plants not far from ground level. Five eggs at a time as a general rule.
The Scarlet Rose Finch can flock together in large numbers but more commonly they spend time in smaller groups of a dozen or so.
