Red Billed Weaver and Russ Weaver

The Red Billed Weaver, sometimes called the Red-Beaked or Masked Weaver is distributed all over Africa, they are very attractive and have been kept as aviary birds for many years, the reasons are clear from the picture as he is such a beauty, the female and the male winter plumage is brown.

The Russ Weaver is very similiar although found in West Africa mainly, the colorings are similiar and they are equally popular.
