Green Cardinal

The Green Cardinal is known to inhabit Argentina, the adult male is a yellowish green, the hen is similiar but the colors slightly duller as is common with the cardinals.

The Green Cardinals sing well but not exactly tunefully ... to our ears at least, I'd be prettty certain that they like their own songs!

These birds lay eggs readily in captivity and produce 3 or 4 at a time, light blue with brown spots.
