The Gouldian Finch is another Ozzie beauty!! There are two colour variants of the same bird - both only found in Australia. The first has a red face and the second a black one.
The Gouldian Finch makes a dome shaped nest made uo entirely from dried grasses. It is usually placed in a low tree or a bush not far from the ground. They lay five white eggs at a time.
