How times in the Dog World have changed - dog training classes, oh, my ... way back when everyone just trained their own dogs no problem they never even thought about it!
It's very different now, I think it is harder to be a dog in the modern world, just like it is harder in many ways for us people too.
So there is nothing else for it, you and your dog must go to school! ... dog training classes anyway - I've noticed that they are all over the place, most small and large communities run them.
Life for an urban dog is hard, they just don't get it as far as traffic is concerned - and there are more dangers than just that out there.
The total plus side is that I've always met totally cool people at dog training classes, of course they are like minded, responsible dog owners, just like you and me, but very good fun too. I've made some good friends from my fellow students - like everywhere in life there are unexpected bonuses everywhere.
