Crimson Crowned Weaver

An inhabitant of West and NE Africa, the Crimson Crowned Weaver is a beautiful finch type bird, when in breeding plumage the male is a fabulous fiery orange with is absolutely striking to the eye. The female is a browny color as is the male in his winter plumage.

They produce 3 verdigris green eggs, they tend to flock in large numbers by preference.
