Baya Weaver

The Baya Weaver is found in India and Sri Lanka. In this type the female is to our eye the more beautiful as I'm sure anyone would agree from the picture, the male is a brown color.

Baya Weavers are a little aggressive and should not be kept with other weavers or Finches which are smaller or weaker.

They suspend their nests from palm trees and make it from grasses of all kinds, plucked when green.
